Type Subscripts and Superscripts

Follow

To type subscripts use the underscore button. Typically that requires pressing "shift" then the "-" (known as the dash) button. In other programs the underscore looks like this _

When you do this, FastFig will automatically drop the cursor to the subscript line and allow you to type what you need. Just use the space bar, arrow button, or your mouse to get back to the standard line when you're finished.

To type superscripts use the ^  button.  Typically this is done by pressing "shift" and the button with the ^ above it.  (usually the number 6 button).

When you do this, FastFig will automatically raise the cursor to the superscript line and allow you to type what you need. Just use the space bar, arrow button, or your mouse to get back to the standard line when you're finished.

Remember to type math without a space between the symbols and numbers. We will auto space it for you. It works for me: http://fastfig.com/s/cj4aqktx1pck8okowko8kogk08888og
